A 19-year-old motorcyclist from Brandon, identified as William Hulzebos, was killed in a crash in southeastern Sioux Falls early Saturday morning just after midnight.
The accident occurred when the southbound Yamaha motorcycle he was riding left the roadway and collided with a roadside sign.
The authorities confirmed that he was wearing a helmet and safety equipment at the time of the crash.
The investigation is ongoing, and while it has not been determined if speed was a factor, drugs and alcohol do not appear to be involved.
