Preliminary crash information indicates the 66-year-old driver of a 2013 Ford F-150 was traveling northbound on 479th Avenue just south of the 191st Street intersection. For an unknown reason the vehicle left the roadway entering the east ditch and collided with a field approach and rolled.
The driver was pronounced deceased at the scene. He was not wearing a seatbelt. There were no passengers in the vehicle.
The names of the persons involved have not been released pending notification of family members.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. All information released so far is only preliminary.
