A fatal two-vehicle crash occurred near Reliance, South Dakota, resulting in the death of a 70-year-old man on Tuesday.
The incident involved a Kenworth semi-tractor trailer that experienced a tire blowout, prompting the semi driver to slow down and move to the shoulder.
A Toyota Highlander in the same driving lane collided with the trailer.
The driver of the Toyota was pronounced dead at the scene.
South Dakota’s Highway Patrol is currently conducting an investigation into the crash.
