The Buffalo Wild Wings location near the Denny Sanford Premier Center in Sioux Falls, which closed in March 2020 due to the pandemic, has been repurposed into “The Den.”
The decision not to renew the franchise agreement for Buffalo Wild Wings was influenced by timing issues related to liquor licensing.
The Den officially opened its doors about a month ago and has seen positive results, particularly during concert nights.
The new establishment offers a darker ambiance with a designated entertainment section, and there are plans to lease out the kitchen to food operators.
The owner is exploring options for live entertainment and expresses frustration over the lack of information regarding the city’s long-term plans for the events center complex.
Currently, The Den operates as a bar and casino, open daily from 11 a.m. to midnight, with extended hours on concert nights.
The building is also listed for sale at $2.95 million.
