The property where the former Perkins restaurant in Mitchell once stood has been sold for $800,000 to Acuity Group, LLC, according to the Davison County Register of Deeds Office and KELO News.
The restaurant had burned down in 2023 under suspicious circumstances.
Acuity Group, a member-managed South Dakota company, lists Mitchell optometrist Nicholas Wenande as its registered agent, with an address at Mabee Eye Clinic in Mitchell.
It is currently unknown what the new owners plan to do with the Burr Street site.
KELOLAND News has reached out to Wenande for comment but has not yet received a response.
