Charles Reambonanza, a 34-year-old former science teacher at St. Francis Indian School in South Dakota, has been sentenced to two-and-a-half years in prison and five years of supervised release for admitting to possessing child pornography.
The judge’s decision followed Reambonanza’s guilty plea, where it was revealed that he used PayPal and an app to purchase illegal images from someone in the Philippines.
The school suspended him after learning about the allegations.
