Four Teenagers Charged in Lincoln County Attempted Murder Case
Authorities in Lincoln County have charged four teenagers in connection with an attempted murder case that began with a drug deal on April 30 outside a bar in Sioux Falls.
A 24-year-old man and a 15-year-old were in one car, while the teenage suspects were in another. After the suspects took the drugs without paying, the 24-year-old pursued them, ending up in rural Lincoln County. There, the front passenger exited the car and shot the 24-year-old, hitting him in the head.
Victor Rios, 19, is charged with attempted murder, while Danai Cha, 18, Antonio Hacker, 19, and Rakeem Fitzgerald, 19, face charges of aiding and abetting attempted murder.
Two suspects are in custody, and authorities are searching for Fitzgerald.
The victim’s current condition is unknown.
