Gas Prices Drop in South Dakota, National Average Also Declines

Gasoline prices in South Dakota have decreased by 7 cents per gallon in the past week, with the current average price standing at $3.55/g, according to GasBuddy’s survey of 628 South Dakota stations.

Prices are 33 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and 16 cents per gallon lower than a year ago. The national average price of diesel has also fallen by 6 cents in the last week, reaching $4.41 per gallon.

Nationally, the average gasoline price has dropped by 11 cents per gallon in the last week, with the current average at $3.55/g.

These decreases are attributed to data compiled from over 150,000 gas stations across the country, indicating a significant drop from both the previous month and year.

The cheapest and most expensive gasoline stations in South Dakota were priced at $3.13/g and $4.29/g, respectively, reflecting a $1.16/g difference.
