Gasoline Prices Drop in South Dakota and Across the Nation, Providing Relief for Consumers

Gasoline prices in South Dakota have decreased by 6 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $3.10/g currently.

The state’s prices are 31 cents lower than a month ago and 26 cents lower than a year ago.

The national average gasoline price has fallen 5 cents per gallon in the last week, reaching $3.21/g.

This marks the 10th consecutive week of declining prices, providing relief for consumers heading into the holiday season.

Patrick De Haan, head of petroleum analysis at GasBuddy, attributes the sustained drop to decreased gasoline demand and advises vigilance regarding potential impacts from OPEC’s upcoming meeting.
