Harrisburg Man Arrested for Car Thefts and Possible Arson in Sioux Falls

A 41-year-old man from Harrisburg has been arrested in connection with the theft of multiple cars in Sioux Falls.

The burglary occurred at a residence on August 21, accompanied by a fire that investigators are treating as arson.

While the suspect, Nathan Eiesland, is a person of interest in the arson case, there’s currently insufficient evidence for his arrest on that charge.

Eiesland was identified through neighborhood surveillance footage and was apprehended based on a warrant issued by Lincoln County.

The warrant includes charges of Grand Theft and Burglary First, with a $10,000 cash bond. Several of the stolen vehicles have already been recovered in different locations.
