A home explosion in Gary, South Dakota, left two individuals seriously injured on the morning of September 30, 2024.
Emergency crews were dispatched to the 800 block of Lac Qui Parle Street, where the two occupants were inside at the time of the blast.
Both were airlifted to Sioux Falls for treatment, with one in critical condition and the other facing life-threatening injuries.
The cause of the explosion is under investigation.
Multiple agencies, including local fire departments and law enforcement, responded to the scene.
