Sioux Falls police responded to a large gathering near South Louise Avenue after reports of gunshots late Friday night.
According to Sgt. Walker, a group of juveniles were involved in a fight around 10:55 p.m. when one juvenile male fired a handgun into the air and fled.
Officers apprehended the suspect, whose identity remains undisclosed due to his age.
No injuries or property damage were reported.
