Larkins earns Summit League Peak Performer after strong showing in Nashville

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – After a pair of 30-point games at the Music City Classic in Nashville over Thanksgiving Week, Grace Larkins has earned her first Summit League Peak Performer of the Week for the 2024-25 season.

Larkins, a senior from Altoona, Iowa, averaged 31 points, seven rebounds, and six-and-a-half assists per game over two games at the Music City Classic. She scored over 30 points in both games.

Against Dayton, Larkins hit 50% of her shots from the field (12-24) and scored a season-high 32 points. She added seven rebounds and two assists in the 79-69 USD victory. The following day against Arizona State, Larkins led the team with 30 points, 11 assists, and seven rebounds in the 95-88 loss. It was her third double-double of the season, and 17th of her career.

Larkins was named to the Music City Classic all-Tournament team alongside Arizona State’s Nevaeh Parkinson and Kentucky’s Georgia Amoore. The two 30-point scoring games puts Larkins with six such performances in her career, the second most in program history.

So far this season, Larkins is averaging 25.3 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 5.9 assists. She leads the Summit League in scoring (202 points) and assists (47) and is second in total rebounds (68). Nationally, Larkins ranks first in made field goals (80), second in points per game (25.3), fourth in total points (202), and 15th in assists (47).

This is the third Summit League Peak Performer of the Week award for Larkins, who now has one weekly award in each of her three seasons as a starter. She also has two Peak Performer of the Month awards to her name (Jan. 2023, Dec. 2023).

Larkins and the Coyotes are back in action Wednesday at Montana State at 8 p.m. CT (7 p.m. MT).
