In a late-night incident around 11:30 p.m. on Friday, two neighboring Sioux Falls homes in the 6100 block of W. Chickadee Place were shot multiple times, with one home hit three times and the other hit five times.
Thankfully, no injuries were reported as there were people inside both residences.
Police suspect the shots were fired from a passing car and are investigating the incident.
The details surrounding the number of weapons used, the motive, and the specific target(s) remain unknown.
Authorities are actively seeking surveillance camera footage to aid in identifying the responsible party or parties.
