Man Arrested After Altercation at Sioux Falls Restaurant Drive-Thru

A fight between employees and a customer at a Sioux Falls business led to the arrest of Tyreik Damon Broussard on charges of Simple Assault.

The altercation occurred just after 1 p.m. on Saturday at the intersection of 34th Street and Louise Avenue.

Sioux Falls Police reported that the incident started when a man in the drive-thru began shouting at someone inside the restaurant.

Several employees confronted the man, and Broussard allegedly punched him.

Additionally, another employee may have threatened the customer or damaged his car with a mallet.

In response, the customer reportedly used a knife to defend himself.

The investigation is ongoing.
