According to the Turner County Sheriff’s Office, a man was was taken into custody on Friday in connection with threatening to blow up a city council and threatening to kill council members last week.
An arrest warrant was issued for the individual and was successfully served the same day by deputies.
The town and city council involved in Turner County has not been revealed.
The individual was charged with making terroristic threats and resisting arrest.
All persons are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
