Man Convicted of Decades-Long Harassment Faces New Charges and a History of Offenses

Greg Farrar, a 70-year-old man from Hurley, South Dakota, is facing charges of sexual contact and trespassing after allegedly harassing and assaulting a woman in Freeman.

This incident has prompted investigators to seek other potential victims to come forward.

Court documents reveal that Farrar has a history of harassing women that spans over three decades, with multiple cases reported in different counties.

He was previously charged in 1998 with 63 counts of stalking and making harassing calls, resulting in a plea deal and four months in jail.

Subsequently, he faced additional charges in 2001, 2006, and 2008 for probation violations related to sexual harassment.

Farrar is currently out on bond, and the investigation into his activities continues.
