A shooting incident resulted in the death of a man in Rapid City on Friday afternoon.
The Rapid City Police Department received a report of a gunshot in the 4500 block of Candlewood Place at 4:45 p.m. (MST) and discovered the deceased man at the scene.
Both the RCPD and the Pennington County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the circumstances of the shooting.
The victim’s identity has not yet been disclosed.
