Despite objections and a lengthy discussion, the Mitchell City Council approved rezoning in the Ridgeview on Foster workforce housing site on Monday night.
The primary concerns were traffic and the extension of Nagle Drive to Forster Street.

The council also approved renewal of medical cannabis licenses, renewal of liquor and wine licenses, as well as ride for hire licenses for 2024.
The group approved second reading and adoption of the 2024 city budget, as well as approving several plats , along with a resolution granting permanent easements along Highway 37 south of town.
The next Mitchell City Council meeting is set for December 4.
