A police chase in Brookings, ended in a rollover early Sunday morning, injuring 24-year-old Brandon Kendall of Mitchell.
The incident began when a Brookings police officer attempted to stop Kendall’s vehicle for speeding.
Kendall, who failed to pull over, continued driving toward the bypass but lost control of his vehicle, overturning it.
He was taken to the hospital for treatment of lacerations and is expected to recover.
Charges against Kendall will be filed after his release from the hospital, and the investigation is ongoing.
