Mitchell Woman Pleads Not Guilty to Charges of Inappropriate Sexual Contact at Lifequest

50-year-old Mitchell resident Stacy Jo Johnson has pleaded not guilty to two Class 4 felony charges of sexual contact with an individual incapable of consent.

The charges stem from an incident on July 19, 2023, where Johnson, then an employee at LifeQuest, allegedly touched the breasts of a female residential client with the intent to arouse or gratify sexual desires.

Johnson is no longer employed by LifeQuest, and she is set to face a jury trial in early April unless she changes her plea before the trial date.
