Tiger Volleyball K–8th Grade Camp (June 9–10) Monday and Tuesday
This two-day camp is open to athletes entering grades K–8 (Fall 2025) and focuses on volleyball fundamentals, including passing, setting, serving, and hitting.
Grades K–5: 8:30–10:00 a.m.
Grades 6–8: 10:15 a.m.–12:15 p.m.
Football Prospect Camp (June 7 & 22) Dates: Saturday, June 7. Sunday, June 22
Time: 11:00 a.m. – 4:45 p.m.
Open to athletes in grades 9–12
This camp offers college evaluation and instruction, including a combine assessment. Includes lunch, dinner, and a camp T-shirt.
Men’s Basketball: Elite Camp (Saturday, June 14)
A high-intensity camp for high school athletes (classes of 2025–2028) seeking to compete at the next level. Includes drills, skill instruction, and evaluations by DWU coaching staff.
Girls’ Basketball: Tiger Team Camp (Monday, June 30)
A great opportunity for girls’ basketball teams to compete in multiple games in one day.

— Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 34 points, while Alex Caruso added 20 off the bench as the Oklahoma City Thunder beat the Indiana Pacers 123-107 on Sunday night to tie the NBA Finals at one game apiece. Jalen Williams scored 19, Aaron Wiggins had 18 and Chet Holmgren scored 15 for the Thunder. It was the franchise’s first finals game win since the opener of the 2012 series against Miami. Tyrese Haliburton scored 17 for Indiana. Game two is Wednesday night in Indiana.

— Carlos Alcaraz staged an incredible comeback to win the French Open final against Jannik Sinner on Sunday in a five-set marathon. After losing the first two sets and facing three match points, Alcaraz rallied to win 4-6, 6-7, 6-4, 7-6, 7-6 in the longest final in the Open Era, lasting over five hours. The victory marks Alcaraz’s fifth Grand Slam title and second consecutive French Open win.
GOLF
— Ryan Fox of New Zealand won the RBC Canadian Open in a playoff against Sam Burns on Sunday. Fox sealed the victory with what he called the best shot he’s ever hit, a precise 3-wood that landed just seven feet from the hole on the fourth extra hole. After missing his eagle putt, Fox tapped in for birdie to clinch his second PGA Tour win in five weeks.
NASCAR
— Denny Hamlin claimed his third NASCAR Cup Series win of the season at Michigan on Sunday, marking the 57th victory of his career. Hamlin made a late pass on William Byron with just three laps remaining and held off the field to win by over a second. Next up, NASCAR heads to Mexico City on June 15 for its first modern-era points race outside the U.S.
WOMEN’S COLLEGE WORLD SERIES
— Mia Scott hit a grand slam, Teagan Kavan claimed another win and Texas defeated Texas Tech 10-4 in Game 3 of the Women’s College World Series championship series on Friday night to win its first national title. Kavan, a sophomore, allowed no earned runs in all 31 2/3 innings she pitched at the World Series. She went 4-0 with a save in the World Series for the Longhorns (56-12).

— A federal judge has signed off on arguably the biggest change in the history of college sports, clearing the way for schools to begin paying their athletes millions of dollars as soon as next month. U.S. Judge Claudia Wilken approved the final proposal that had been hung up on roster limits. The sweeping terms of the settlement include approval for each school to share up to $20.5 million with athletes over the next year and $2.7 billion that will be paid to thousands of former players who were barred from that revenue for years.

— A Seattle man has been charged with a string of burglaries at the homes of prominent current and former football and baseball players, marking the latest example of well-known athletes being targeted in these types of thefts. 21-year-old Earl Riley IV was charged Friday with several counts of residential burglary in both occupied and unoccupied homes, along with first-degree robbery. Prosecutors say Riley was the ringleader in a series of burglaries that started in February and involved thefts from the homes of such players as Seattle Mariners Luis Castillo and Julio Rodriguez and former Seattle Seahawk Richard Sherman.

— All-Star right-hander Corbin Burnes of the Arizona Diamondbacks is set to undergo Tommy John elbow surgery, ending his season early in the first year of a $210 million, six-year contract. It’s the richest deal in team history. The 30-year-old exited his most recent start with Arizona, a week ago Sunday in the fifth inning.
— Brooks Lee and Christian Vázquez hit back-to-back home runs in the fourth inning as the Minnesota Twins beat the Toronto Blue Jays 6-3 to avoid a sweep and snap a three-game losing streak. The Twins host the Texas Rangers on Tuesday at 6:40 pm to start a three-game series.
— Seattle’s George Kirby struck out a career-high 14 during seven innings of two-hit ball as the Mariners snapped their five-game losing streak with a 3-2 victory over the Los Angeles Angels on Sunday. Kirby’s strikeouts were the most by a Seattle pitcher since 2018, and tied for the most strikeouts in a major league game this season.
— Jack Flaherty struck out nine over six scoreless innings as the Detroit Tigers defeated the Chicago Cubs 4-0 and took two of three games in a matchup of teams with the two best records in baseball. The Tigers improved to 43-24, while the Cubs fell to 40-25.
— Paul Skenes again pitched into the eighth for Pittsburgh before Andrew McCutchen came through with a go-ahead single that inning, helping the Pirates complete a three-game sweep of the Philadelphia Phillies with a 2-1 win. Skenes lowered his ERA to 1.88 while his record remained at 4-6 as he got a no decision. The 23-year-old ace gave up one unearned run on two hits with seven strikeouts and one walk in 7 2/3 innings.
— Carlos Narváez put Boston ahead with a three-run homer in the sixth inning as the Red Sox overcame two home runs by Aaron Judge in an 11-7 win over the New York Yankees.
— Mike Yastrzemski drove in three runs as the San Francisco Giants extended their winning streak to five games with a 4-3 victory over the Atlanta Braves. The Giants swept the three-game series and sent the Braves to their seventh straight loss. Atlanta has lost 14 of its last 17 games and fell to 27-37, a season-low 10 games under .500.
— Jonathan India hit a tiebreaking double in Kansas City’s two-run seventh inning as the Royals beat the Chicago White Sox 7-5. Salvador Perez and Bobby Witt Jr. each hit a two-run homer for Kansas City, while rookie Jac Caglianone went 4 for 4 in his sixth major league game.
— Manny Machado homered for the only run of the game as the San Diego Padres shutout the Milwaukee Brewers 1-0. The Padres face their division rival Los Angeles Dodgers for the first time this season starting on Monday.
— Pete Alonso and Jeff McNeil each hit two of the Mets six home runs as New York routed Colorado 13-5 to sweep the major league-worst Rockies for the second time in a week.
— Clayton Kershaw allowed one run in five innings to record his first win since last August as the Dodgers beat the St. Louis Cardinals 7-3.
— Max Muncy homered and Jacob Wilson and Tyler Soderstrom each had two hits and an RBI as the Athletics beat the Baltimore Orioles 5-1 to win their first series in more than a month.
— Evan Carter and Jake Burger each finished a triple short of the cycle as the Texas Rangers beat the Washington Nationals 4-2.
— Tampa Bay’s Yandy Díaz hit a tying two-run homer in the fifth inning and his double in the eighth led to the eventual winning run as the Rays beat the Miami Marlins 3-2.
— Matt McLain broke a seventh-inning tie with a two-run homer as the Cincinnati Reds completed a three-game sweep with a 4-2 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks.
— Nolan Jones scored the go-ahead run on a throwing error by pitcher Steven Okert in the seventh inning as Cleveland beat the Houston Astros 4-2.
