Three individuals have been identified, including a Minnesota man and two Alabama residents, who lost their lives in a fatal crash west of Sioux Falls earlier this week.
The incident occurred on Interstate 90, about 13 miles west of Sioux Falls, at 4:16 p.m. A 2014 Ram 3500 traveling west on I-90 sideswiped multiple vehicles and then collided head-on with a 2018 Thor Motor Coach RV in the eastbound lane.
Both vehicles caught fire, leading to the destruction of identifying features and documents.
The crash resulted in the deaths of the Ram’s driver, 32-year-old Oday Qabsees, as well as the RV’s driver, 58-year-old Stephen Hudson, and his passenger, 60-year-old Brenda Hudson.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol is currently investigating the incident.
