Starting in May, downtown Sioux Falls will introduce new parking initiatives aimed at improving convenience and supporting local businesses.
These changes include the ability to pay for parking via credit card on mobile phones, enforcement of a new vehicle clearance ordinance on Phillips Avenue, and extended parking meter enforcement hours on Saturdays.
The adjustments are designed to increase parking turnover and foot traffic, benefiting small businesses in the area.
Additionally, parking in ramps and lots will remain free after 5 p.m. weekdays and all day on weekends.
