A 45-year-old man has died after a stabbing incident early Friday morning in southwest Sioux Falls.
Police responded to a call at 4:43 a.m. in the 3500 block of South Larch Avenue, where they found the victim with stab wounds.
Despite efforts to treat him, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities believe the incident resulted from an altercation between the victim and another individual, who has been located but is not yet considered a suspect.
An autopsy will be conducted, and the victim’s name is withheld pending family notification.
This marks the third homicide in Sioux Falls this year.
