Brad Reay, a Pierre man convicted of first-degree murder for killing his wife, has died at age 64 in the Jameson Annex infirmary in Sioux Falls.
The South Dakota Department of Corrections announced his death, but no cause was immediately given.
Reay was serving a life sentence handed down in 2007 for the murder of his wife, Tami, after she asked him for a divorce.
