Sioux Falls Police swiftly apprehended a suspect, 41-year-old David Larvie Jr. of Sioux Falls, in connection with a break-in at First Premier Bank.
The incident was reported by Mason Natole, an alert gas station employee, around 2 a.m. Natole and two customers witnessed the suspect attempting to break into the bank, and upon police arrival, the individual was taken into custody.
The suspect, who had broken windows leading to offices, took office items of minimal value.
Larvie faces charges including Third Degree Burglary, Intentional Damage to Property, Theft, and Carrying a Concealed Weapon for possessing brass knuckles.
No additional individuals were found inside the bank during the police search.
