A fatal two-vehicle collision occurred 2 miles east of Spearfish, South Dakota, on October 5th.
The incident involved a car stopped in the westbound driving lane, which was rear-ended by a pickup truck driven by a 20-year-old named Cactus Millar, who escaped without injuries due to wearing a seatbelt.
The driver of the stopped car, 39-year-old Marshall Osloond from Rapid City, lost his life in the accident as he was not wearing a seatbelt.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol is currently investigating the crash, with all available information being preliminary at this time.
