Road Rage Incident Ends in Gunshots in Sioux Falls

A road rage incident in Sioux Falls escalated to gunshots on Thursday night.

The incident began around 8 p.m. near Russell Street and Minnesota Avenue, where two vehicles pulled into a parking lot.

The drivers got out, exchanged words or possibly fought, and then left for the 800 block of N. Dakota Avenue. Gunshots were reported there, resulting in a 19-year-old woman sustaining a minor foot injury from a graze.

No other injuries were reported, and no arrests have been made.

Police are investigating the incident involving an estimated three to four individuals.
