Search on for South Dakota man involved in New Jersey murder

Law enforcement agencies are currently on the lookout for a South Dakota man who stands accused of the murder of an individual from Atlantic City at a local event venue.

According to an official press release by the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office on Monday, Dominique Woodall, a 27-year-old resident of Sioux Falls, allegedly shot and killed Terrance Dismuke, a 30-year-old man, in the 200 block of St. Louis Avenue last week.

The incident occurred on Friday, with authorities discovering Dismuke’s gunshot wounds at approximately 4:50 p.m. Despite efforts to save him, Dismuke tragically succumbed to his injuries at a nearby hospital.

The shooting took place outside Beacon Hall, situated on St. Louis Avenue. As the investigation unfolds, law enforcement officials have charged Woodall with murder, unlawful possession of a weapon, and possession of a weapon without a permit to carry. Currently, Woodall remains at large, classified as a fugitive by the Prosecutor’s Office.

At this time, authorities have not disclosed any information regarding the relationship between Dismuke and Woodall, nor have they confirmed whether the shooting was a premeditated assault or a random act of violence.
