Shooting Incident at Sioux Falls Convenience Store Involves Officers and Suspect

In the early hours of Wednesday, Sioux Falls Police and the Minnehaha County Sheriff’s Office responded to an incident at a Get-n-Go convenience store on the 600 block of S. Minnesota Ave.

At approximately 3 a.m., officers encountered gunfire from inside the store, leading to a shooting involving the suspect. Loud noises were reported around 3:38 a.m., and the store’s front door showed signs of damage, likely from a bullet.

14th Street was briefly closed but has since reopened.
