19-year-old Dominque Gibbons has been arrested and is currently in the Minnehaha County Jail. He stands accused of stabbing a man in the neck at a restaurant drive-through in Sioux Falls.
The incident was initially reported last month, where a passenger in a car attacked the driver, inflicting multiple stab and cut wounds. Fortunately, the victim was expected to survive despite the severity of the attack.
After a period of investigation, the authorities were able to apprehend Dominque Gibbons on Monday, July 3.
Following his arrest, Gibbons has been charged with four offenses, one of which is aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Gibbons made an appearance in court where the judge decided to set bond at $20,000.
