Sioux Falls Police Arrest Three After Vehicle Pursuit and Shots Fired

Sioux Falls, SD – The Sioux Falls Police Department arrested three people on Saturday night after a vehicle pursuit that began in central Sioux Falls and ended near Augustana College.

The incident began at approximately 6:00 p.m. when police received reports of a vehicle firing shots near the intersection of 22nd and Main Streets. Officers attempted to stop the vehicle, but the driver fled. A pursuit ensued, and the vehicle eventually crashed near the intersection of 33rd and Summit Streets.

Three occupants of the vehicle were taken into custody. They have been identified as Timothy Cervantez, Alexander Cool, and Matthew Karschnik. All three were charged with weapons violations, aggravated eluding, and possession of narcotics.
