South Dakota Businessman Accused of Illegally Obtaining COVID Relief Funds

South Dakota businessman Richard Kamolvathin is facing allegations of illegally securing hundreds of thousands of dollars in COVID relief funds.

Court documents reveal that Kamolvathin submitted two applications for his business, Zolvent Pro, LLC, located in Harrisburg, which sells organic fertilizer.

He was granted two Small Business Start-Up Grants totaling over $363,000, but investigators claim that the applications contained false statements and misrepresentations.
