The State Department of Health is set to open applications for the State Loan Repayment Program on October 2nd.
This program aims to enhance healthcare access in underserved communities by attracting and retaining healthcare providers.
Last year, 14 out of over 200 applicants received funding through the program.
Eligible disciplines encompass medical, psychology, nursing, and pharmacy fields, with awardees committing to two years of service at qualifying healthcare facilities in South Dakota.
Interested individuals can access application forms and eligibility criteria online until October 31st.
