South Dakota Soybean Processors ready for $500 million processing plant in Mitchell

The South Dakota Soybean Processors were unanimously given a conditional use permit by the Davison County Commission on Tuesday for a soybean processing plant that will cost $500 million.

Construction is planned for next summer with completion during the Fall of 2025.

The facility, located two miles south of Mitchell, is expected to employee 85 people.

The South Dakota Soybean Processors also have facilities in Volga and just east of Miller, S.D.
