The South Dakota Amateur Baseball Association commissioners have chosen Brandon to host the 2025 state amateur baseball tournament and Mitchell to host the 2026 edition.
The last time the amateur tournament wasn’t in Mitchell was in 2018 when Augustana hosted the even in Sioux Falls.
Brandon will host Aug. 6-17 in 2025, while Mitchell hosts Aug. 5-16.
Brandon has recently invested in upgrading their baseball facilities with a new grandstand and artificial turf infield.
Mitchell will host the 2024 tournament from Aug. 6-18.
