A group of South Dakotans have been recognized as 2023 Better Business Bureau award and scholarship recipients.
First Insurance Group, with locations in Mitchell and Woonsocket, was among the 28 organizations selected for the prestigious Torch Award for Ethics, honoring businesses and nonprofits that demonstrate exceptional trust and integrity.
Additionally, three South Dakota high school seniors, Taylor Even, Gavin Sannes, and Ava Gooch, were granted $2,000 scholarships for exemplifying values, leadership, and integrity as part of the Students of Integrity Scholarship program.
The winners will be celebrated at a ceremony at A View West Shores on Tuesday, September 19, 2023.
