A state prison offender, Dennis Lufkins, age 76, has died while in custody.
Lufkins passed away on June 15, 2025, at the Jameson Annex medical unit, where he was receiving care. At the time of his death, he was serving a life sentence for first-degree manslaughter, a conviction stemming from an incident in Roberts County.
