Three Arrested After Gunshots Fired in Rapid City

The Rapid City Police Department arrested three individuals after gunshots were reported in the city.

The incident occurred late Tuesday night, prompting a response to the 1200 block of Atlas Street.

Witnesses identified a white Jeep Wrangler as the vehicle from which the shots were fired. Police located and attempted to stop the vehicle, which was found to be stolen.

After a pursuit and deployment of spike strips, the vehicle was stopped, and a search revealed a handgun and an illegally altered shotgun.

Jeremy Highhorse, the driver, was arrested for aggravated eluding and possession of a stolen vehicle.

Arlen Blackburn was arrested for discharge of a firearm from a moving vehicle and possession of a firearm with an altered serial number, among other charges.

Queana Bissonette was taken into custody on a parole hold. All three were transported to the Pennington County Jail.
