Two children have died and two more are hospitalized following a collision between a car and an Amish buggy in Minnesota.

The incident occurred on Monday morning when a 2005 Toyota 4Runner SUV traveling southbound on County Road 1 crashed into a horse-drawn Amish buggy also moving southbound near the intersection with County Road 102.

The victims, 7-year-old Wilma Miller and 11-year-old Irma Miller, lost their lives, while a 9-year-old and a 13-year-old were transported to a nearby hospital with undisclosed injuries.

All four children in the buggy were siblings residing in rural Stewartville.
