Early Saturday morning, Sioux Falls Police responded to a disturbance near S. Drexel Drive and W. 59th Street around 2:45 a.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered three adults deceased from gunshot wounds.
Two additional victims, who sustained non-life-threatening injuries, were transported to a local hospital.
A suspect has been identified and taken into custody, and police assert there is no further danger to the public.
The investigation is ongoing, and the area remains sealed off as officers process the scene.
