A 57-year-old South Dakota man was seriously injured Wednesday when his truck rolled over northwest of Renville, Minnesota.
The man, Wayne D. Weisser of Tripp, South Dakota, was driving westbound on Renville County Road 11 when he came upon another vehicle that was slowing or stopped to make a left turn onto 220th Street. Weisser swerved to avoid striking the rear of the other vehicle, but his truck went into the ditch and overturned.
Weisser was airlifted to North Memorial Health Hospital in Robbinsdale with serious but not life-threatening injuries. The truck sustained heavy damage.
The Renville County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash.
