A velociraptor statue that was stolen from the Washington Pavilion in Sioux Falls on Wednesday evening was recovered early Thursday morning.

Washington Pavilion security observed footage of three suspects removing the statue from the west side of the building. Police were able to track the suspects to a nearby apartment at 11th Street and Minnesota Avenue, where they found the statue inside a unit.

Two adults, 18-year-old Anthony James Barrera and 19-year-old Morningstar Rose Stewart, were arrested for grand theft. A third juvenile suspect was also taken into custody.

The statue, which is approximately 3 feet tall, was not damaged. It has been returned to the Washington Pavilion.
