Verizon is set to introduce its 5G service to Pine Ridge, Aberdeen, and Parkston this summer, marking the first time these areas will have access to this advanced technology. Furthermore, the coverage of 5G continues to expand in Sioux Falls.
Verizon’s 5G Ultra Wideband boasts impressive capabilities such as the ability to download large documents, stream HD audio and video content, play high-quality console games, and enjoy clearer video conferencing and FaceTime calls.
This technology upgrade is expected to bring enhanced connectivity throughout South Dakota, as mentioned by Majority Leader Senator Casey Crabtree.
Senator Crabtree believes that the expansion of 5G service across the state will not only provide faster speeds and more reliable connectivity but also promote tourism and unlock new opportunities for innovation and economic growth.
Dean Brauer, the vice president of engineering and operations for Verizon, expressed enthusiasm about the positive impact their work has had in South Dakota.
Brauer highlighted Verizon’s reputation for providing an exceptionally reliable 5G network experience and emphasized their commitment to maintaining unmatched connectivity for customers across the state.
