It’s the peak season for home delivered packages as holiday gift giving is in full swing. It’s also a busy time for scammers trying to play the Grinch at your expense.
Jessie Schmidt of the Better Business Bureau says be alert if you receive a call regarding a so called delivery.
She says legitimate delivery companies don’t as for personal information.
Schmidt says there are consequences if you do off that information.
