41-year-old Anthony Baker from Watertown was arrested earlier this week after an incident at a Clear Lake hotel.
The Deuel County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of Baker, who was wanted in Codington County, staying at America’s Inn and Suites.
Baker initially refused to open the door and threatened law enforcement.
However, he eventually surrendered and was taken into custody on Wednesday night just after 7 pm.
He faces a range of charges including distribution of meth, aggravated assault, grand theft, multiple drug charges, and resisting arrest across both Codington and Deuel counties.
