2020 Mitchell Legislative Cracker Barrel sessions scheduled

The Mitchell Area Chamber of Commerce has scheduled two Cracker Barrel sessions to provide opportunity for the public to meet the local legislators.

The Mitchell Area Chamber of Commerce Governmental Affairs Committee has announced the 2020 dates for Legislative Sessions events in Mitchell. The popular Cracker Barrel sessions are scheduled for Friday, Jan. 31 and Friday, March 6. Both of these events will begin at Noon at the City Hall Council Chambers, located at 612 N. Main St., Mitchell. These Cracker Barrel sessions are free and open to the public. These events will be streamed live on the City’s YouTube channel and the Mitchell Chamber & Development Corporation’s Facebook page. Questions can be electronically submitted via email to info@mitchellchamber.com during the event.

Cracker Barrels are a public forum, giving those in attendance the opportunity to pose questions to the District 20 Legislators. The event will be moderated by volunteers from the Governmental Affairs Committee. The legislators will have an opportunity for opening and closing statements.

District 20 Legislators – Senator Josh Klumb and Representatives Lance Koth and Paul Miskimins have been invited to participate.
