Portions of Main Street and Third Avenue will be closed to traffic during the demolition of buildings in that area.
The entire intersection at Main Street and Third Avenue will be closed beginning Tuesday, Nov. 12 for the project, which is expected to take a week. Main Street will be closed from approximately the middle of the 200 block to the middle of the 300 block. Third Avenue will be closed for about a half block to the east and west of the Main Street intersection.
Demolition may require periods of inaccessibility to alleys and other areas adjacent to the affected streets, so drivers and pedestrians should be prepared to take alternate routes.
