Early voting in Davison County is now underway. “10 o’clock this morning we received our ballots and at 11 o’clock we are ready to go,” said Wingert.
Davison County Auditor Kathy Wingert says it’s a relief. “We do have 26 different ballot types and so we’re still working out how to get our samples out there but we can sure provide those for people,” Wingert continued. “Should they come in we can look them up and narrow down which ballot they need.”
She says it’s exciting to finally get the election up and running. “I’m looking forward to a successful election,” Wingert said. “Despite how this season has started and us being five days late to start the absentee voting, I’m confident in how the election will run.”
